The main building structure consists of structural concrete columns and suspended slab at ground floor level, with structural steel at first floor level. Ceilings to the first floor are constructed of lightweight fire rated compressed straw Ortech ceiling panels. Internal walls are a combination of standard plasterboard construction and Speed panel, which are roll formed, galvanized steel panels filled with aerated concrete. Formwork systems and design were planned to minimize working at heights and reduce the time taken to form the suspended slab and beams. The services installation also caters for significant future growth and technological changes. | Worsley, WA | $8.0m | Prior June 2007 |
